Once part of the old village hall, Merlewood Cottage is a particularly attractive B&B owned and run by Alick and Peggie Whittle. This welcoming couple offer superb bed and breakfast accommodation. Both guest rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished, have private or en-suite bathrooms and one even has a balcony. Alick's home-cooked, hearty breakfast is served in either the country style kitchen or on the terrace that overlooks the cottage's delightful garden and the surrounding countryside beyond.

There is plenty to do locally, from horse riding to wandering around the picturesque harbour in Dartmouth. And for those who are prepared to venture a little further, the world-renowned Eden Project is a little over an hour away by car. Private off-road parking is available for guests along with use of the garden. Please note: no pets and no smoking.
